Cooking with Clean Power: Using Mobi Gen for Food Trucks at LKIC with LADWP and LACI

The La Kretz Innovation Campus (LKIC) located in Downtown Los Angeles is using Mobi® Gen, an innovative battery-backed technology to power food trucks. LKIC is owned by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) and is home to LADWP’s Customer Engagement and Sustainable Living Labs and the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI). LKIC uses the 80 kWh Mobi Gen unit as a replacement for diesel generators to power food trucks as well as community events and the film industry in the greater LA area. Watch the video below to learn how Mobi units are helping to reduce carbon emissions, improve customer experience and advance the transition to a green economy.
