Dr. Carolin Funk receives Innovator of Year on behalf of FreeWire Technologies

The San Leandro Chambers of Commerce honors FreeWire Technologies as the 2016 Innovator of the Year. The recognition was given to the company and fellow business leaders in the local area during an awards ceremony last week. These companies have paved to way to develop a thriving economy and technology hub in San Leandro, CA. Awards recipients also received recognition from California Congresswoman, Barbara Lee, California Congressional District 13, Assembly Member Rob Bonta, California Assembly District 18, and Alameda County Supervisor, Wilma Chan. 

Carolin Funk, FreeWire's VP of Growth, accepts the award on behalf of the company. "We believe San Leandro is a unique face in the technology sphere of the Bay Area, especially with the growing presence of manufacturing companies here, like ourselves. We planted our roots here a few years back and we are honored to have the support and recognition of city."
