BP’s Mobility Tech Accelerator is the first of its kind, enabling startups and corporations to fuel cross-industry partnerships – all with the mission to make unprecedented leaps in mobility and transportation. The accelerator officially kicked off in London last week, bringing together eleven innovative global startups from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Israel and India. FreeWire is proud to be selected for the accelerator’s inaugural cohort. FreeWire’s CEO, Arcady Sosinov, spent the week in London, immersed in the kickoff program to learn about strategies and internal opportunities from the corporate partners such as IBM, Allstate, Avis Budget Group, and Volkswagen. “I’m very excited for the potential collaborations with BP and the other partners. The great momentum will take the electric vehicle ecosystem to new heights,” says Arcady. At the end of the accelerator program, selected startups will engage in an eight-week pilot testing phase with the participating corporate partners where the solutions devised by the startups will be integrated within various business units.
