Two Weeks of Free Charging at Chevron Mountain View

Celebrating Clean Air Month and the Deployment of its Ultrafast EV Charger

FreeWire Technologies, the leading provider of battery-integrated electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and energy management solutions, has deployed a new Boost Charger at a Chevron fuel station in Mountain View, CA. In celebration of the Clean Air Month of May, FreeWire will offer free ultrafast charging for two weeks, from May 22nd to June 5th. During this time, customers can experience the new technology and receive a free charge.

The Boost Charger is a battery-integrated ultrafast charger, and is conveniently located along a major highway and next to an In-and-Out restaurant. A single EV can charge at 150 kW, or two EVs can charge simultaneously at 75 kW. FreeWire’s energy requirements are nearly 10x lower than traditional chargers, reducing peak energy demand, saving grid strain and providing lower-cost power. The battery-integrated design allows for reduced demand charges and more efficient energy usage.
