What does the future of fleets look like? Various companies and industry thought leaders convened in Long Beach, CA to discuss this topic during the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo. Among the innovative transportation technologies, alternative fuel providers and sustainability-focused equipment manufacturers, FreeWire Technologies showcased the only mobile and ultrafast electric vehicle (EV) charging products with applications for fleet use cases. Attendees had the opportunity to drive the Mobi^® EV Charger and compete for the fastest time around a custom racetrack. The ultrafast Boost Charger™ was also on display, providing a glimpse into battery-integrated DC charging future. This flexible, above ground asset provides 120 miles of range in 15 minutes with a battery big enough to meet demand.

Electrification took center stage at ACT, signifying a sweeping change in how the fleet market is tackling emissions requirements while providing an overall lower total-cost-of-ownership solution to customers. Arcady Sosinov, Founder and CEO of FreeWire, discussed alternative technologies and business models for fleet charging, including infrastructure-light charging solutions during the EV Charging Infrastructure Workshop: Mobile, Wireless & Automated Charging. The panel was moderated by Drew Cullen, VP of Energy Services at Penske, a company actively engaged in forward-thinking approaches to fleet charging solutions.
